Who provides the devices for CAPI?
It depends on the project set-up. We clarify device and questionnaire software needs with you at the quote stage.
Can CAPI be used where there is no internet?
Yes. With an offline questionnaire, interviews are stored on the device and uploaded when a connection is available.
Is CAPI more expensive than PAPI?
Device and software costs are added, but the data entry stage disappears. Depending on your project’s size and duration, we can show both options side by side in the quote.
How do you know an interview really took place?
The device records interview duration and time; location can also be captured if the project allows. We review unusually short interviews or interviews clustered at the same times and verify by calling respondents back when needed.
